Financial Aid

Financial aid eligibility guidelines at Southeast are the same for face-to-face and online courses.  If you'd be eligible for financial aid as an on-campus student at Southeast, you'll be eligible for financial aid as a Southeast Online student.  For more information, visit Student Financial Services.

Types of financial aid available.  To find out about federal grants and loans, visit http://www.semo.edu/financing/federalaid.htm  The first step in apply for financial aid is to complete and submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  Like most things, the sooner you submit your FAFSA the better.  You may apply online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov or with a paper copy through the mail.

Installment Payment Plan spreads payment of the course fees throughout fall and spring semesters.  (IPP is not available in summer term.)  There is a processing charge and IPP must be requested at the time of enrollment.  For more information, visit Student Financial Service's  http://www.semo.edu/financing/options.htm

Criteria for Missouri Residency can be found at http://www.semo.edu/cs/financing/residency.htm.  If you live in another state but work and pay taxes in Missouri, you may be eligible for tax credits.
