Welcome to Southeast Online!Now that you have been admitted and enrolled in Southeast Online, let me be one of the first to officially welcome you to our online campus. We are excited that you have chosen Southeast Online at Southeast Missouri State University as your educational institution of choice. The purpose of this guidebook is to provide important information in support of an online student’s successful achievement of academic and education goals. We are proud of our commitment to offering high-quality, academically rigorous programs that are taught by our excellent faculty. The mission of Southeast Online is to serve the needs of today’s student, by providing convenient access to high quality online courses and selected degree programs in a student-centered approach to learning. Southeast Online places emphasis on four aspects of learning: quality, convenience, access, and value. As an online student, you will be required to take a more active role in your learning process. With the support of many academic and administrative departments throughout Southeast Missouri State University, we provide the knowledge, direction and tools in support of your ability to succeed academically and professionally.
