How Will I Turn in Homework?

Nearly all classes have some type of assignment that you must complete in the course. In a traditional class setting, this work is handed in during class time. In the asynchronous environment (and, more and more often in the conventional classrooms), this function is handled by a "drop box."  A drop box is simply a place to electronically "drop off" homework so that it gets to the professor. For those who are wondering why such assignments are not handled via email, there are two main answers:

First is the size issue, email attachments can have a limit as low as 500k. Several different types of assignments can go beyond this limit (a PowerPoint Presentation, is a good example).

Second issue is one of organization. This way, all the assignments are in one easy place for the instructor to find, sort, and grade assignments for students.

If you would like try placing an assignment in the Dropbox, use a word processor (Word, WordPerfect, Notebook, etc) and tell me how you heard about Southeast Online. Save your document and then drop it off to me by clicking on the button above titled "Drop Box."

Move on to the next section of the class (How will I take a test?).
