Error: "The server could not process your request"
Q: What causes the error message: "the server could not process your request"?
A: The message "the server could not process your request" occurs when a student tries to access an OIS module by going directly to the module's URL instead of loading the class Web page first, then clicking on links to get to the module.
For example, a student cannot access the Tests & Quizzes area of a class just by typing http://online.semo.edu/ois-bin/utestsrv/utestsrv.dll. The student needs to go to the class Web page first, then click on the proper link.
Likewise, bookmarking a UTest, GradeA, Forum, or Calendar page will cause the error message described above. The solution is to bookmark the class Web page instead.
